Meet the Charged F-1 Hub Comfort, a practical folding electric bike built for UK commuting and weekend rides with comfort and control at its core.
Key features
- UK-compliant 250W Bafang rear hub motor with 45 Nm torque for confident starts and steady hill support
- Shimano MT400 hydraulic disc brakes for reliable braking in changing conditions
- ZOOM suspension fork plus Promax suspension seat post to smooth rough roads, cycle lanes and light trails
- Shimano 7-speed drivetrain for easy cadence control across town and mixed terrain
- Compact 20 inch folding frame for easier storage at home, in the office, or in a car, caravan, or motorhome
- Practical commuting kit included: mudguards, rear carrier, kickstand and front and rear battery lights
Battery options and range expectations
Choose from 36V 375Wh or 36V 630Wh battery options. Range varies by rider weight, terrain, temperature, wind, tyre pressure, assist level and riding style. Carrying cargo or towing will reduce range.
Controls and throttle notes (UK)
This model uses pedal assist with a speed sensor and LCD display with 5 assist levels, plus a 6 km/h starting aid. A full-throttle option is available, which requires DVSA Single Vehicle Approval and L1e type approval. This process typically takes 2 to 8 weeks and results in a certificate linked to your bike’s frame number. Once type approved, throttle use up to 15.5 mph can be road legal in the UK under the applicable L1e requirements.
