Haibike Flyon Speed Sensor Disc

The Haibike Flyon Speed Sensor Disc is an original Haibike spare part and can be easily replaced in case of defect or damage.

Haibike has developed for the Flyon models specifically this sensor disc. Thus, the otherwise usual spoke magnet is replaced.

The Speed Sensor Disc sends 18 signals per wheel rotation to the system and therefore measures 18 times more accurately the current speed, as in models with installed spoke magnet. As a result, the system can respond much faster and more dynamically to changing requirements and detects acceleration even with the slightest wheel movement, for example when starting uphill. In addition, the new Sensor Disc is intended to prevent tuning, as the sensors are coded accordingly. Therefore, the Sensor Disc, in contrast to the spoke magnet, can be deceived much more difficult.

The Haibike Flyon Speed Sensor Disc sits in a protected position and fail-safe integrated in the left frame dropout.
